Privacy Policy for Mallangi

Mallangi is a simple digital sensory toy app. We collect a limited amount of pseudonymous app-usage data to understand which interactions are useful and to improve the app.

Data Collection

We collect pseudonymous product-interaction data, such as app opens, play interaction categories and duration ranges, selected squishy types, sound-setting changes, and settings or support-link opens. We use a randomly generated app-installation identifier to distinguish event sequences on the same installation.

PostHog automatically adds limited technical context to each event: app version and build, bundle identifier, device model/type, operating-system version, screen dimensions, language, time zone, Wi-Fi or cellular connection category, TestFlight/sideload status, an anonymous session identifier, and the PostHog SDK version.

We do not collect names, email addresses, account details, advertising identifiers, contacts, precise location, raw touch coordinates, touch identifiers, or raw touch-pressure, speed, and movement data.

Analytics Provider

We use PostHog, Inc. to process this pseudonymous analytics data in the United States. PostHog is configured to discard client IP addresses.

Tracking and Advertising

Mallangi does not track you across apps or websites. We do not use analytics data for advertising, share it with advertising networks or data brokers, or combine it with third-party data.

Accounts

Mallangi does not require account creation or login.

Network

The app sends only the pseudonymous analytics data described above to PostHog. It does not provide other network features.

Device Features

Mallangi uses haptic feedback on supported devices and plays sound effects bundled with the app. The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect direct personal information from children or any other users.
